Good to know
The Richmond Land Trust, which owns the Beeken Rivershore Preserve next door, tells visitors to park here while it works on better parking at the preserve. The Town of Richmond lists Overrocker Park among its supported river-access sites and warns that parking capacity is limited: when it is full, come back another time. The Town bans parking on both sides of the eastern end of Cochran Road, from the Duxbury Road intersection to the Edmunds Bridge. Elsewhere, all four wheels must be off the travelled road, and fines are $150 in the town's High Fine Zone and $50 on other town roads. Lot size is not published.

We read the official sources we could find, and none says whether parking here costs anything. Check posted signs when you arrive. Tell us what you found.

How we know this

Richmond Land Trust, richmondlandtrust.org/projects-2-1 ("for now, park at the Overrocker Park, to the east"); Town of Richmond release of 2023-07-03 and parking page richmondvt.gov/community/parking; read 2026-10-23. None states a fee. Lot identified as Overrocker Park: the parcel's published address, 1301 Cochran Road, geocodes 46 m from it.
