Verified: Free parking Verified Oct 9, 2026

Parking here is free.

Parking at Burrows Trail Trailhead is free.

Seasons and hours
Trails close when snow begins melting and reopen the weekend before Memorial Day. Even then, stay off if very wet or muddy.
Good to know
Camel's Hump is an undeveloped, free-entry state park with no visitor facilities. The Burrows lot often fills on summer days - arrive by 8am on a fine weekend. Roadside parking on Camel's Hump Road in Huntington is prohibited and vehicles will be towed, so have an alternative hike planned if the lot is full.

This trailhead's name comes from the nearest trail, because the parking area is unnamed in OpenStreetMap.

Location from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); identified by matching a public parking area to trail geometry within 160 m. Space counts come from OpenStreetMap. Elevation from USGS 3DEP (public domain). Safety disclaimer.
